Vinyasa yoga, often described as a moving meditation, is a dynamic breath-focused practice that utilizes sun salutations to link intelligently sequenced poses into a continuously flowing organic whole.
I came to yoga by way of pilates and acting. While earning my MFA in Acting at Wayne State University, our movement classes were Pilates-based and our teacher suggested we find group classes to add to our classroom core work each week.
