Embodied Strength is designed to explore the fundamental techniques of embodied functional movement. We will challenge your stability, mobility, balance, strength, and motor coordination through the full range of available and controlled movement. We will explore: isolation, activation, mobilization, and integration as well as the loading of joints, isometrically, eccentrically, concentrically in an all levels, progressive approach. Students can work at their own pace and everyone is welcome to challenge themselves in a mindful and productive manner. While itself, not yoga, this class is the perfect supplement to your regular vinyasa-style practice and is only offered at the Buffalo Foundry.
